My name is Yasindu Karunasekara, a 24-year-old residing in Biyagama, close to the Export Processing Zone. I pursued my education at Kelaniya Gurukula National College up to the Advanced Level examinations, specializing in the technological stream. Additionally, I completed an English & IT Diploma at E Soft Metro Campus and pursued a Food Technology HND at Ratmalana UCR, reaching the second semester.

My professional journey includes serving as a NAITA trainee (Computer Operator Assistant) at the Sri Lanka Atomic Energy Board, Ministry of Power & Energy, from March 9, 2021, to December 31, 2022. This invaluable experience provided me with a solid foundation in various aspects of computer operations. Presently, I am an undergraduate student at CINEC Campus Malabe, pursuing a BSc (Hons) Computer Science (Software Engineering) (Semester three). Recognizing the importance of staying current in the field, I am concurrently undertaking an online training course in Software Development at Artifectx Solutions (Pvt) Ltd. This one-year training, conducted in 2023, was under the direct supervision of the Co-founder/Director of Business Development of the company.

Additionally, I am actively participating in the Online Course of the Trainee-Full Stack Developer programme conducted by the University of Moratuwa.

My passion for Software Engineering, coupled with my academic and practical background, has equipped me with a strong foundation in programming languages and web technologies. I am confident that my skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, combined with my commitment to staying abreast of industry trends, make me a strong candidate for this position.
